Let's Get Organized: Student Activism Workshop
One September 12, 2015 in partnership with PICO (http://www.piconetwork.org/) we sponsored an organizing workshop with the students at PVAMU. The goal was to come together under the umbrella of social justice to organize our various moves toward justice.
Sandra Bland Movement members had the opportunity to greet each other, ask questions and learn skills and tactics.
Thank you to the students an
d organizers who attended. After the workshop many of the participants went to the Waller County Jail as observers and to continue the vigil.
